Honora’s 200 acre vineyard and estate is nestled in Southern Vermont’s Green Mountains of West Halifax.  With spectacular 360 degree views of Hogback & Haystack Mountains in Vermont, Monadnock Mountain in New Hampshire and Mount Holyoke & the Berkshires in Massachusetts it is a great place to sit back and relax. 

For 2006 our winery & vineyard is only open to the public for the Art on the Mountain Event. We hope to be able to open our property in the near future for tours and events, but are currently going through the permitting process.

We are conveniently located only 2 ½ hours from Boston and 3 ½ hours from Manhattan and are within minutes of Mount Snow Ski Resort, Molly Stark State Park and the Harriman Reservoir.   

Our vineyards are filled with over 10,000 cold-weather varietals and vinifra including LaCrescent, Frontenac, Gewutztraminer, and Pinot Noir.

We at Honora Winery & Vineyard craft styles of wine that develop a balanced and sophisticated bouquet of enticing aromas with flavors that embrace all occasions. They provide a soft, inviting experience that eliminates the confusion of coupling an elegant wine with cuisine. 

One of our tasting rooms and retail location is under construction.  We are in process of restoring a historic 1890 barn back to scale which is located in Wilmington, VT.  Construction is scheduled to be complete late 2008 or early 2009.  Look for more details in the near future.
